Walala

SONOMA COAST
Pinot Noir

Walala (pronounced wa-la-la) translates from the Kashaya Pomo Indian saying to “where the water flows down."  This saying is a reference to the local Gualala River and the nearby town of Gualala, which resides at the mouth of the Gualala River.  Located on a ridge top along the Sonoma Coast, just a few miles from the Pacific Ocean, Walala resides in what is often referred to as the “True” Sonoma Coast AVA. Only a few miles as the crow flies from Premier Pacific Vineyards’ other “True” Sonoma Coast Property, Redwood, This heavily maritime influenced vineyard, on the extreme edge of Pinot Noir viticulture.
