Premier Pacific Environmental Mission Statement:

Premier Pacific aims to create vineyards that produce world class quality wine grapes in a way consistent with its inherent appreciation and respect for nature. Premier Pacific will strive not merely to meet guidelines set out by various regulatory bodies, but to be an industry leader in environmental responsibility.

Premier Pacific appreciates its unique opportunity to help protect the environment. We take our mandate as a responsible steward of the land seriously and have invested considerable time and resources toward designing each vineyard to be as low impact environmentally as possible.

Premier Pacific’s vineyard practices are not just environmentally responsible. More natural, less intrusive vineyard management techniques are being recognized as an important part of growing high quality wine grapes. Studies also show that Sustainable practices tend to be less costly in the long run.

PPV Winegrowing Practices and the Environment

Premier Pacific’s wine growing practices generally follow those outlined in the various regional Sustainable Agriculture programs and often include elements of Organic and Biodynamic agriculture.

These winegrowing practices are:

  • Protective of the environment - Environmentally Sound
  • Responsive to the needs and interests of society-at-large - Socially Responsible
  • Economically feasible to implement and maintain - Economically Feasible
  • Sustainable in Perpetuity
